External Case Index

Practice cases published by clubs and firms, indexed

This index holds 402 entries: 391 individual cases and 11 case books and published sets, representing 519 cases in total under the index’s counting rules. University consulting clubs give their case books away, and firms publish practice cases on their own careers pages. We write a short summary of each one in our own words, name the source on every card, and link out. Nothing here is hosted on this site, and nothing here is behind our paywall. The paid product is our own deep cases, the Interviewer, and scored feedback.

Most case books in this index are listed case by case, because the book itself could be opened and its contents read. The books that remain at book level carry a case count marked as verified, a club or source figure, or an estimate, because that book could not be opened in a form that lets its individual titles be verified. Individual cases are listed one by one only where the source itself names them, and a case printed in two books is counted once.

For source owners

Every case in this index belongs to the club or firm named on its card. This site is not affiliated with any of them, uses no logos, and links to the source rather than copying the material. If you own a listing, or speak for the club or firm that does, write to legal@hackingstrategyfinance.com. We acknowledge within two business days, and we remove or correct a listing within five business days of a rights holder’s request, without argument. If your club limits a book to its own members, tell us and we will remove the listing or reduce it to a link to your club’s public page, at your choice.

Readers: if a link dies or a detail on a card is wrong, the Report a problem link on every card goes to the same inbox. Corrections keep this index worth trusting.
